Hi friends!

My name is Shannon, and I created this website so that I can share my knowledge and some of my experiences with money, finances, budgeting, saving money, and just anything related to being financially free. I love talking about money, and ways that a person can save money whether its by cutting back on expenses, ways of paying off your credit cards debts, putting more money in your retirement account, or just whatever comes to mind about how to retire comfortably, and without any stress or financial worries.

A little bit about my background, I never liked depending on people for money growing up. I always felt that I had to have a job so that I can do the things I wanted to do, or purchase the things I wanted to purchase. My dad always said to me that “you have to work hard to get ahead in life, and in order to be independent, you have to earn your living. By depending on people, you will always be in debt to them”.

So, I began my financial independence many years ago with my retirement account that my Aunt created for me when I was 18. I have to admit, I wasn’t as committed to funding my retirement account as I am now! but, better to start now than to never start at all!

I hope you like my webpage, and find it useful, and helpful. I aim to make aware of the options that one has in order to achieve financial freedom. As my website states: Debt Free With Savings! We all want to be debt free, but the important thing to question is “at what cost”? your savings? I hope not! That’s why I’m here. I want my viewers to learn how to be Debt Free WITH SAVINGS. not WITHOUT SAVINGS!
